aim

In order to raise up the next generation of Gospel workers in Ireland, ICM is involved in training christians to share their faith, read the Bible with others, lead small groups, and teach others the good news of Jesus Christ.

As a para-church agency ICM offers theological training to the wider Irish evangelical community to support the work of the local church. We also run specialist courses to equip Christians meet the challenges of witnessing in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic society.

Our two major training courses are SOCM (School of Christian Ministry), and the Ministry Training Strategy (MTS). SOCM is designed to equip tertiary level students and post grads in skills of understanding and handling God’s Word, as well as in sharing the Gospel message with others.

For those who have left university, ICM offers the MTS (Ministry Training Strategy) apprenticeship, which is a two-year ministry programme, designed to train young christians into full-time Christian ministry.

ICM is actively involved in developing the MTS apprenticeship throughout the Republic of Ireland, encouraging pastors to develop a training mindset in order to multiply the ministry of the Gospel throughout Ireland.
