icm mission partners
Ireland needs a new generation of Gospel workers, who are missionaries to Ireland – evangelists and church planters, who can plough new ground. ICM is committed to recruiting, training and deploying a new generation of Mission Partners to work in many different kinds of situations. Opportunities range from working with particular groups, students, business, ethnic, socially-disadvantaged to working in new towns and villages where there is no evangelical witness, planting churches that aim to replicate themselves, or working with existing churches in various parts of Ireland to reach new communities of people.
Requirements
To become an ICM Mission Partner, applicants must have experience in evangelism and discipleship, at least within the past five years, as well as theological training, preferably a formal qualification.
We are looking for various kinds of Mission Partners:
- Full-time ICM Mission Partners;
- Associate or Part-time ICM Mission Partners who are bi-vocational (‘tent-making’), willing to combine their employment with Gospel outreach.
- Associate Mission Partners from other sending Missionary agencies who are working in partnership with ICM.
Getting started
To get started in the process of becoming an ICM Mission Partner, candidates should contact ICM for an Enquirer’s Information sheet and the ICM Statement of Faith.
Successful applicants will be responsible for their own financial support. However, ICM undertakes to advertise for support in Ireland through its network of supporters and may be able to provide a limited grant in certain circumstances.
